The Selkie's Song

Debbie Scott & Willie Johnson

The Selkie's Song

cd - £12.99

At the age of sixteen Debbie Scott was invited to take part in the Orkney Folk Festival. She was accompanied on Guitar by Shetland guitar legend Willie Johnson. Their inspirational blend of swingy fiddle and jazzy guitar captivated audiences wherever they performed and they proved to be the star turn at the festival.

This led to them being invited to return to Orkney soon afterwards to record an album. The Selkies' Song is the result and has remained a bench mark for aspiring fiddle and guitar players ever since.

Enjoy.
